Facts:

1. The first electronic mobile library in Greece was introduced by Veria Public Library in 1994
2. Veria Public Library was the first greek library to put up a web site… back in June 1997
3. We have the largest record in participation in international R&D projects. 13 in a row since 1993
4. Compared to all the public libraries in Greece, Veria library has the highest performance in user memberships (41% of the city’s total population) and has the best record of materials on loan (steadily growing every year)
