Searching Items in the Digital Repository “Μedusa”.
In the digital Repository “Medusa” you can search out by giving the key words in the corresponding field on the top left part of the page.
You can also use conditions to filter the results with more than one criteria:
These conditions are:
On the results presentation page you can change options such as :
- The number of results you wish to appear per page
- Classification according to relevance / Title / Date
- Option of Increasing or Decreasing classification
Also you can see how many result pages exist and of course you can move to following or previous pages. The results of your search appear as:
- Previewing of the thumbnail
- Date of issue
From the field Search: you can filter the results solely of one particular collection.
By clicking on the title you can move to the item.
From the option BROWSING BY DATE OF ISSUE you can choose the date of issue of the item and change the arrangement of the results on the basis of :
- Arrangement by : Title / Date of issue / Date of record
- With direction : Increasing /decreasing
- Results/Page : You can choose the number of results you wish to appear per page
From the option BROWSING BY WRITER you can search items on the basis of the writer. You can filter the results on the basis of the initial name of the writer by clicking on the corresponding letter or by providing the first letters of the name.
Here, likewise, you can have an increasing/decreasing classification and determine the results presented per page.
On a regular basis the Library recommends Writers on this page to start your search.
From the option BROWSING BY TITLE you have the same possibilities as above. In this case, however, the search field is the title of the item.
From the option BROWSING BY SUBJECT you have the same possibilities as above. In this case, however, the search field is the topic. The Library on a regular basis suggests topics to start your search.
