Το κυνήγι της αλεπούς

Εκείνος ζει την απόλυτη ευτυχία με τη σύζυγο και το παιδί του, μέχρι την ημέρα που ανακαλύπτει ότι η αγαπημένη του τον απατά. Και τότε, από τη μια στιγμή στην άλλη, χάνει το έδαφος κάτω από τα πόδια του και όλα γύρω του γίνονται συντρίμμια. Μετά από την τραυματική εμπειρία και το επώδυνο διαζύγιο, μισεί όλες τις γυναίκες του κόσμου και μοναδικός του σκοπός από δω και πέρα είναι να βρει ένα εξιλαστήριο θύμα.
Στην άλλη άκρη της πόλης, μια νέα γυναίκα ζει ανύποπτη τη δική της επίπλαστη ευτυχία, μέχρι που ανακαλύπτει το φρικτό, αποτρόπαιο μυστικό που της έκρυβε ο άντρας της. Ύστερα από τον αναπόφευκτο χωρισμό και τη βαθιά πληγή, ένα είναι σίγουρο: Η εμπιστοσύνη της στους άντρες έχει χαθεί οριστικά. Το μόνο που την ενδιαφέρει πλέον είναι η μικρή μοναχοκόρη της.
Τι θα συμβεί όταν αυτοί οι δύο άνθρωποι ανταμώσουν; Πόσο ανελέητος μπορεί να γίνει εκείνος και πόσο περισσότερο μπορεί να πληγωθεί εκείνη;
Μια σύγχρονη, πραγματική ιστορία που μοιάζει με μυθιστόρημα χωρίς να είναι, με φόντο τον μαγευτικό πύργο της βασίλισσας Αμαλίας. Δυο πρόσωπα που ανακαλύπτουν πως, μερικές φορές, τις μεγάλες αποφάσεις τις παίρνει για λογαριασμό μας η ίδια η ζωή.

TO TURN ON THE LIGHTS TOGETHER

The Central Public Library of Veria , known as the “Greek miracle”, has grown from its origins as a small library in a mountainous region of northern Greece into one of the most modern libraries of the world! It has managed to become the core of the local community, with 31.375 registered members (60% of the population of Veria), 800 daily visitors of every age and especially students (in 2014, 5.200 students visited the library). From November 1999 until November 2015 the borrowed items (books, magazines, and board games) numbered 2.943.633!

In 2010 was the recipient of the ‘’Access to Learning Award’’ by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation receiving worldwide recognition out of 350 nominations. With the prize money which accompanied the award we installed photovoltaic systems to save energy, we created the Media Lab on the 1st floor which is flooded with people and we upgraded our technological equipment. The whole project will be completed with the renovation of the 2nd floor.

A state-of-the-art multiple function space will be created ,which will provide the public and the artists-authors the ideal environment of high standards and aesthetics in order to attend and present a variety of cultural activities: performances, lectures, film screenings, and even cooking courses! However, the additional amount of 100,000€ for the purchase of necessary equipment is required.

For this reason, the Central Public Library devoted once again to innovative and pioneering proposals, follows the financing methods which large cultural and educational organizations use worldwide and announces the launch of the support campaign to raise the necessary funds from the public and its supporters in the country and around the world.
